Warren Druschky, lifelong resident of Webster Groves, went to be with the Lord on August 8, 2017. Born April 4, 1919 to Alice and Roy Druschky, Warren was a loving husband, gracious father, wise friend, and dedicated worker. He was God's faithful servant for 98 years.

Warren was a graduate of Webster High School (1937), involved in Youth Hosteling, and served in the Navy during World War II in the South Pacific. After the war, he returned to Webster Groves and in 1946 he married the love of his life, Mary Elizabeth Candy, his wife of 68 years. They had four daughters: Kathy, Karen, Jan, and Beth.

Warren started his career right out of high school (at 17 years of age) working at Webster Groves Trust Company; he retired as bank president nearly 50 years later. Throughout his life, he played a vital role in the community of Webster Groves. He served his church in a variety of capacities as a lifetime member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church. He served his city as chairman of the City Pension Board, treasurer of the school district, and as a representative of the Old Webster Special Business District Advisory Commission. He served his community as a proud member of Webster Rotary for over 40 years. He was also an active member of Full Gospel Businessmen Fellowship International.

Warren was highly recognized by the community in a variety of ways, and honored to be Webster Groves Citizen of the Year in 1985. He was a firm believer that faith in Christ is the foundation and anchor to all life's choices, and his life was a living testimony to this belief. We will miss him dearly.

Warren Druschky is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Elizabeth (Candy) and his sister (Lora). He is survived by his four daughters: Kathy Druschky, Karen (Chuck) Root, Jan Druschky, Beth (Dan) Wilson; grandchildren: Kelly (Doug) Pelletier, Craig (Lisa) Root, Chris (Abby) Faust, Mary (Scott) Murphy, Brian (Grace) Root, Matthew Root, Katie (Chad) Stuewe, Jon (Jamie) Wilson, David (Natasha) Wilson, and Bekah (Cameron) Capps; great-grandchildren: Tony, Annie, Isabel, Wyatt, Lilli, Ryan, Dylan, Brooke, Patrick, Parker and Tennyson.

The family would like to recognize the dedication of the staff at Meramec Bluffs Care Center and Heartland Hospice.

Memorial services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 14 at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 9 South Bompart Ave. Webster Groves MO 63119. Reception to follow.
